    5. Comments regarding the Webinar presentation

  • It it had just been Joyce and Eric it would have been a 10, but the webinar was way over my head. But, I do like the idea of webinars.
  • I was only able to attend for the first portion and I found it WAY to detailed. I think that a joint INDC/INWPGC meeting should focus more on local issues and not use the webinar format.
  • The presenter made no attempts to actually explain in simple terms what he was talking about. I always think that if a speaker can take the very complex, and make it easy to understand, that's a great thing. Also, if I'd realized that particular planning tool only works with people who have gross estate values of $4m, I probably wouldn't have attended since very few of our donors are in that bracket. It would have been nice if he had addressed ways people in other brackets could use their vacation homes to work for charities.
  • I was unable to attend the webinar today.
  • This presentation was way over my head.
  • Very technical, but good.
  • I felt that the speaker specialises in something that most of us will never be able to use (limited gifting opportunities)
  • over my head - and he's not a great presenter. I've seen better NPGC webinars.
  • The webinar was very advanced material and the Planned Giving 101 was very elementary. I know it's a challenge to present to a group with various levels of knowledge and experience.
  • It was informative but a bit over my head. I guess I would need less detail. Simply an overview of those products would be sufficient.
  • A bit boring and dry. But a lot of great information.
  • I am not familiar with planned giving, but the webinar did make me feel like I was back in a property law class. I'm not sure what others' level of expertise in planned giving is, but I thought it would definitely be appropriate for an 'expert' in planned giving.
  • Was unable to attend the Webinar portion.
  • too in depth on too specific topic
    6. Can you recommend a dynamic presenter that you have heard speak on a topic that would be relevant to development professionals?

    N/A (14)

  • I'll think about it
  • I cannot recall his name, but I believe he works at NCPG and was a pastor for several years... or at least has a Masters in Divinity from Princeton.
  • Tad Wisenor, Director of Alumni and Parent Relations and Annual Giving at Whitworth University - 509-777-4401

    10. Comments regarding the Planned Giving 101 presentation

  • It was great!
  • I wasn't able to attend
  • couldn't stick around for that portion.
  • Very helpful information. Thank you.
  • I thought it was very good for the beginner or those that want to know more.
  • Good job! FYI, Facility was very nice but I find it difficult to get to the Valley, prefer downtown (e.g., the Blood Bank) location.
  • Excellent! Exactly as advertised. Very inspiring too.
  • I thought the program was just so so but never feel it's a waste of time because I enjoy networking with other development professionals in the community.
  • The speakers were great. Of course Joyce M. Cameron is my boss so I'm a little biased! It was very good however and presented in a way that made it interest!
  • Very good for those just beginning a Planned Giving program.
  • It was a great presentation! I learned the basics and felt that I could walk out and start building a basic planned giving program.
  • Overall, good. I think Joyce "got it" from a development and fundraising side, Eric brought some nice materials that I will reference again.
  • It was useful
  • comments about facility - I like round tables better
