If so, what? |

Bring Marshall back for a more in-depth session. After all, his topic is the most important in all of development. |
The "more info" is my responsibility, need to process what was presented, and put this information to work. |
I got the book so I don't need anything else |
Role plays, more time for Q & A. |

Comments Regarding Speaker |
| |
Very engaging and great to listen to. |
Engaging, stimulating, good voice. Did the best he could with limited time. |
Fabulous Speaker!! What an amazing topic that impacts our industry in so many ways! Astounding presentation! |
Thought he was very good. |
I found the speaker very knowledgable and an interesting person. He could have given more information, but added so many extra stories that kept him from getting to the meat of the topic. |
Very knowledgeable and personable |
It's obvious that Marshall loves what he's doing. He was fun, engaging and is walking the talk. I just felt it was a bit rushed and Marshall did have the adequate time to cover everything in detail. |
Marshal was a great speaker, motivating, entertaining, knowledgeable, and convincing. |
Very entertaining. Didn't seem as organized as he could have been --- needed to move more quickly through the material to get to the "how" part and less of the "why" part -- I think we understand why relationships are important! |
Very timely to my work. Thank you! |
Dynamic, good speaker, kept us interested |
Marshal's book "Let's Have Lunch Together" has given me the information, courage, and insight I needed to turn the corner in my position as Planned Giving Officer. The timing of his presentation could not have been more perfect for me, I am very grateful. |
I thought he was very engaging and had some great information backed by years of experience. |
knowledgable, informative, entertaining |
Great topic, very informative and entertaining! Much more useful than the last speaker which was geared toward much larger organizations. |
Excellent. His real life examples helped make an impact and confirm his message. A real eye opener in seeing the changes that I need to make for raising money. |
Very elementary information. |
This is precisely the kind of program we need to be offering at INDC meetings. |
He was enthusiastic about his topic. A lot of the audience seemed to enjoy his presentation.
Good points and in the beginning he involved the audience. To the point he was unaware of our timeline. Given that many people needed to leave at 2pm, we should have helped him adapt his message so he could wrap up on time. the last exercise should have been done instead of some of the presentation to help people internalize his message. OR is should have been dropped. |

What suggestions do you have for future INDC programs? |
| |
It would be great to have more speakers like Marshall. |
I think that it would have been more effective if I could have read the book before the meeting. I wasn't very resourceful -- did a quick "google" but didn't find it. |

Speakers that speak from their hearts |
I am always very interested in the presentations that deal with the on going day to day nuts and bolts of what it is we do in Planned Giving and Development. Personal experiences and the trial by fire examples/techniques are always very interesting and helpful for me. I love to hear and learn from my fellow colleagues in this arena. |
Change of venue. The cigarette smoke is unbearable and will affect my ability to participate in these meetings as long as they are in the casino. |
Have them someplace other than Northern Quest. Even though our room was non-smoking, their ventilation system is not. After three hours there, I have a tremendous headache caused by inhaling stale cigarette smoke. |
Please revisit some of the suggestions from past surveys. There are some great ones.
I'd like to see another "local" group pull together a program on local issues, opportunities and challenges. In the tone of what Carol Neupert did. |

I really appreciated Father Spitzer's encouraging presentation last year. |
