How to start a direct mail acquisition and donor renewal program (financial and human resources needed, how to get organizational buy in, how to project income if no plan is currently in place). 2. Benefits of using a mail house, how to choose a mail house, ect... 3. How direct mail supports other fundraising activities.

Emily Hine has over 17 years experience in fundraising, volunteer management and public relations. Over the course of her career, she has helped raise over $125 million for non-profit organizations in the United States. Her work history includes three years at United Way and seven years at Microsoft Corporation where she managed the company-wide employee giving and volunteer programs and increased employee giving over 500%. While at Microsoft, she also managed a team that created accessible software products for people with disabilities.

Ms. Hine has been President of HineSight Consulting for the past 5 years helping non-profit organizations increase their capacity through multi-million dollar capital campaigns and strategic volunteer initiatives.
